Your family and you are invited to a POTLUCK SUPPER TODAY (Sunday, Sept. 28) at 6:00 p.m. at the home of Barbara Loftus at 376 River Road in Pawcatuck to meet Brother Livingstone Weronde, Administrator of the CHAIN Foundation Orphanage in Mukono, Uganda. This will offer us an opportunity to meet him and for him to meet us. We will learn more about the day-to-day workings of the orphanage and more about the fledgling program for the blind children. Please bring a main dish, side dish, salad, or dessert to share. If you have a favorite beverage, feel free to bring it. Please RSVP to Mary Hughes at 535.4997 or at mehughes54@yahoo.com.
CHURCH SCHOOL KIDS & THE JUNIOR YOUTH would love to have you minister to their Christian Formation. Please consider volunteering. Contact the Rev’d Amjad Samuel at 535-1181, ext. 16 or at cecalvchurch@aol.com.
CONFIRMATION CLASSES BEGIN SOON! If you’re interested, please contact the Rev’d Amjad Samuel at 535-1181, ext. 16 or at cecalvchurch@aol.com as soon as possible.
CROP WALK! Join the Calvary Team for the Mystic Crop Walk on October 19 at 1:30 p.m. the 10K walk starts at St. Mark’s Church in Mystic and goes to the Noank Baptist Church and back. Sponsorship money for the walkers is donated to Church World Services to fight hunger and poverty throughout the world. If you can’t walk, you can make a donation to sponsor the team. To sign up, please call Candy Sanford at 535-3399.
GET READY! Christmas is coming early this year! On November 16th, Outreach will hold its 2nd Annual Alternative Gift Fair. Why not make a donation to Uncle Fred’s favorite charity instead of purchasing him yet another tie? It will warm Grandma’s heart to know that a needy family will be provided for because you made a donation in her name. This event is open to the public, so tell all your friends. Let’s make the world a better place for everyone!
PAWCATUCK NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER’S EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY is completely empty of the following items: instant mashed potatoes, pork and beans, kidney beans, canned pears. Please help them restock!
COOKS ARE NEEDED FOR THE WARM SHELTER. We provide a meal for 50 people on the third Wednesday of every month. There are sign-up sheets on the bulletin board in the Parish Hall. If you have any questions, call Candy Sanford at 535-3399.

We recently had FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHS TAKEN FOR OUR NEW PICTORIAL DIRECTORY. Some of your complimentary 8×10 portraits were sent to the church. Please take a moment this morning to pick up your portrait from the back of the church.
WHILE WE’RE WAITING FOR OUR NEW PICTORIAL DIRECTORIES, please help yourself to a directory from the back of the church – no photos, but addresses, etc. have been updated!
