Please join CALVARY MUSIC SCHOOL AT 4 P.M. TODAY FOR THE FIRST PERFORMANCE OF THEIR YOUNG ARTISTS’ SERIES. Flutist Rebecca Baehr will be playing Sonata in E. Minor by J.S. Bach, Copland’s Duo for Flute and Piano, and Fantaisie by Gaubert. Suggested donation is $10. to benefit Calvary Music School. Please join us for what is sure to be a wonderful performance. Reception will follow in the Parish Hall.

SOMETHING NEW!!!! CALVARY SUNDAY LUNCH BUNCH: Looking for friendly conversation and good food on a Sunday after church? Then join us, the Calvary Sunday Lunch Bunch on Sun., April 5 at 11:45 a.m. at the Water Street Café. We have a table reserved for as many as who would like to come. Dutch treat, of course. All who are on their own or without their families are most welcome. For more information, just call our Pastoral Care Coordinator, Barbara Loftus, at 599-5732 or just bring yourself to Water Street Café at 11:45 a.m. and look for the Calvary Sunday Lunch Bunch table. This will be our first gathering. If the interest is there, we will keep it going on a regular basis.
Our friends at the PAWCATUCK NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER need donations of canned fruit, boxed cereal, jars of jam and jelly, and any other non-perishable food items. Next time you’re grocery shopping, why not pick up a few extra items and place them in the basket at the back of the church. Many local families need our help!

MOVIE NIGHT AT CALVARY FOR YOUTH OF ALL AGES! Every fourth Saturday of the month (next one on April 25th) from 7 to 9 p.m. Please check online calendar for details!
The FLOWER GUILD NEEDS DONATIONS to assure we have altar flowers each Sunday. There are many open dates beginning May 3rd! Please consider making a donation of $60. as a memorial gift or in thanksgiving for blessings. You may phone Phyllis at 860.535.1181 to check the date and to give us the wording you’d like to appear in the bulletin. Then mail your check or place it in the alms basin with a memo of “Altar Flowers” and the date. Questions? Phone Gloria Gorby (535-0578), Flower Guild Chair, or Phyllis in the office.
COFFEE HOUR HOSTS are needed. It is an easy ministry to provide a few simple sweets and to make coffee for those wanting to share fellowship and camaraderie after the 10:00 service. If you could do this just once or twice a year, it would be a tremendous help to Calvary. Please sign up on the sign-up sheet posted in the Parish Hall. Your help will be appreciated!
CONCERT FOR CONSERVATION TO BENEFIT THE DENISON PEQUOTSEPOS NATURE CENTER. Violinist and Stonington native Hilary Castle will perform works of Mendelssohn, Franck, and Rachmaninoff in an Earth Week concert to benefit the Nature Center. Ms. Castle will be accompanied by pianist Justyna Maj. The concert will be April 19th from 2 to 3:30 p.m. and will be held at Union Baptist Church in Mystic. Tickets are $20 for DPNC members, $25 for non-members, and $9 for students. Please call 860-536-1216 for more information or to purchase tickets.
