Calvary’s Needlepoint Kneelers

Needlepoint Kneelers

Eighteen women have been hard at work stitching kneeler canvases for several months. Whew! It is a lot of work.

These women have donated their fingers, time and money to the project. They have paid for the canvas, yarns, etc., and are now paying finishing costs. The kneelers are beautiful and we hope that many will be ready for dedication when Mark returns in October.

We’d like to keep going and invite you to join us — men and women. Even if you’ve never stitched before you are welcome. One among our ranks, Alice Conger, was brand new to the art of needlepoint and loves it. In fact, she has already completed her kneeler and is ready to do another!

We know that some of you would like to do kneelers in memory of loved ones or just because but would rather just pay for them. That would be fine as we have people who are willing to do the work. Additionally there are people who’d like to stitch but need financial assistance.

We would be grateful for contributions.
